Why I started to blog facebook

If you read about me, you know that I always loved to write.  I just never made time in the everyday rush between work and home.

I recently realized time is running by, second by second.  It is waiting for no one.  Whether we dream or not, live or survive…tick…tock…tick…tock.

So I traced my steps back to school.  After school they told me “you can be whatever you want to be”.  I read letters I exchanged after school with a school friend and remembered our dreams.  We wanted to change the world!

There are many things I dreamt to become, maybe not specifically a writer, but writing always made me happy.  I decided to step out and follow my dream.

I read up on writing, wanting to master the skill before I start, but the quote that changed my way of thinking is this: “the only way to learn how to write is to write.”  Very fearfully I wrote my first few blog posts and gave it to my husband and sister to read.  Maybe they read it with rose-coloured gentle-glasses but the verdict was not bad.  I realize everyone will not like me or my blog and it is okay.

One month later I am still learning so much.  Time to write is still not a lot, but I enjoy every moment of it.
