When I started to blog it was primarily to follow my dream to write.
I enjoy every moment of writing, although I don’t always understand all the technical stuff.
I never thought I would meet such a group of inspiring people in this adventure I started. It is an adventure of planning, blogging, SEOs, plugins, photography, designing, googling… and meeting awesome people.
To all the experienced bloggers sharing their knowledge when you need it.
To the mothers juggling too many balls with too little sleep, somehow keeping it all together.
To the people who write from the heart, motivating and inspiring.
I discovered a whole community of people sharing a love for the written word, reading, writing, liking, sharing…
In this post I want to thank you and show appreciation for what you do. Everyone who buys out time in a busy day to write, everyone who stays up late after everything at home is done and the children are sleeping.
I am looking forward to meet more of you, to read your stories and share a piece of your life with you.
And I certainly am looking forward to reading more of your work, and meeting you!:)
Thank you for stopping by. I enjoy your site as well. It would be nice to meet you.
Hi Rolene
I started blogging for the same reason as you did: to pursue the dream of writing. I have lost my passion for it in all the academic writing I have to do and blogging brought it back to me.
A really lovely post!
xx Karin
I am so glad your love for writing was ignited again by blogging. Thank you for visiting.
This is a very heartwarming post 🙂 I too started my blog partly due to my passion for writing. Now and then I indulge myself with a tiny fictional post. Writing those posts are the most enjoyable ones for me! I appreciate your appreciative post
Thank you for your appreciation. I hope you get enough time for those fictional posts. Would love to read some of them.
Well said, it is wonderful to be part of a community
Being part of such a community is truly a privilege. Thank’s for stopping by.
Fantastic! Are you in South Africa? I was born and raised in Pretoria but live in the States now! 🙂
Yes, in South Africa. :-). Thank you for stopping by.
Ah what a wonderful post. Having fun browsing your blog now!
