I want to tell you about a weekend we had recently… we were so blessed.
We enjoy being at home on weekends, but this weekend we went away to a game reserve.
Our first blessing was the friendly, helpful staff at arrival. We were upgraded to a big three bedroom chalet instead of the one bedroom we booked, because the air-conditioning in the smaller unit was not working.
The chalet had a view of the game reserve and we could watch the animals grazing.

Last weekend I had a perfect weekend. I might add “at home”, as our other recent perfect weekend was the weekend we took our baby away for the first time.
Our perfect weekend was busy, but started with a relaxed Friday afternoon. On Friday my husband finished early at work so we picked our baby up together and went for a walk in the park.
It is the same park where we watched numerous sunsets together. It is also where my husband proposed many years ago.

I want to introduce a part of my husband to you.
When I started the blog I decided not to give too much personal information due to cybercrime and privacy, but I can’t help but to share this.
Although my husband is in IT, he is an entertainer by heart. It is a skill he learned from his father. Sometimes it can drive me crazy (almost ;-)), but time after another it make someone’s day.
