My initial title for this post was blogging adventures in April, but I changed it to accomplishments. I guess the little accomplishments along the way are part of the adventure.
April was a busy month… just as every other month, and like every other month I wonder at the end where it went.
I wrote a little bit about everything in April. For all the moms out there, you can find 4 simple tips from a supermom on surviving everyday life. The travelers can read how I spent a magical day in Paris with my family (who was with another tour group). We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary and I share 8 things I learned about my husband in 8 years, and you can read about the greatest love story, where I share my opinion about Easter.
On the technical side of the blog I learned how to put hidden images in a post. Yes it is actually a thing! For Pinterest you need long vertical images of good quality, but when you look at it on a mobile device you have to scroll down and down (and sometimes some more down) to continue the rest of the post. So now it is hidden away and only comes up when you want to pin onto Pinterest. That was my very first accomplishment. I can’t find the website that taught me, but with Google it is easy to find a helpful post.
The logo of the website also changed to this hand-prints we did when Little Captain was a year old. I was looking around at various logos but since all images on this site is authentic, I thought it is a good idea to make the logo a photo of our artwork as well.
I also finished my freebie when you subscribe for my weekly newsletter. It is a 7 day Stress-Less Challenge. By making one small change every day for 7 days, you will minimize your stress in one week. Come and join us!
An accomplishment I am aiming for in May is to get my life a bit more organized by my using my new to-do list with my weekly planner. Check it out under my new Free Resources Category, another addition (may I say accomplishment?) to this website. You don’t have to subscribe to get access.
You can also get free access to my shopping list, I am grateful for list, bucket list, birthday calendar and weekly cleaning routine. There is also 7 Bible verses to encourage you when you feel unworthy. This free resources will be updated from time to time. Why don’t you have a look and let me know what you think?
How did April treat you? Did you have any accomplishments (other than surviving, which is a big one for me)?
What else do you want to see under the Free Resources Category?
If you like to stay in touch, please subscribe to our newsletter, or follow us on Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram.
I had a very busy April in my primary business, so I haven’t done nearly the amount of work on my blog that I had hoped. Congratulations to you!
Thank you. Good luck with May, hope you find more time for your blog.
Congrats on finishing your freebie! Also, I love the idea of sharing your weekly wins. We definitely need to celebrate our accomplishments more, no matter how small.
Thank you! Yes we tend to compare with other people and think our progress is not fast enough, but everything grow at its own pace. Thank you for stopping by.
I’ve learned to celebrate every tiny victory! Thanks for reminding me to take time at the end of every month to reflect on all the things I’ve learned. It’s easy to compare yourself to others, but when you really step back and look, the wins are plastered everywhere. 🙂
It is so true Kelly. Thank you for your comment. 🙂
My April has been really busy but also good. You have done so much-for me learning the behind the scenes stuff has been harder than the actual posting!
I am glad you had a good month as well Lauren. I agree with the behind the scenes stuff being hard. It would be easy if we could just write and take photos if there is extra time, but I also see it as a learning curve to grow and learn more. Thank you for stopping by.
Wow, sounds like you were busy! Your stress less challenge sounds great!
Thanks for stopping by. It is a great challenge to take away some stress.
Sounds like you got a lot done! I could take a lesson from you I was not even close to being that successful :/ Way to go!
I wish every month could be that productive. Thank you for your comment.
Wow busy month!
Thank you for stopping by. 🙂
Working on my freebie! Sounds like you had a really productive month!
Thank you for stopping by Lee. Hope to see your freebie soon!
